How to: Insert text.
Solution:
Copy or Cut, and Paste the text into the document.
1) Select the text to be inserted (either in the current document or from another file).
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and do one of the following:
a) Select 'Cut'.
b) Select 'Copy'.
3) Position the cursor where the text should be inserted.
4) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'. (The text is pasted into the document.)
